Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of this website and to air conditioning services you book from HAY-COOL HVAC INC, a California corporation, (“we”, “us”). AC24Repair.com is operated by HAY-COOL HVAC INC. By booking a visit you agree to them. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Scheduling

Phone availability is 24/7. When you book, we schedule a technician to visit within 24 hours and confirm a window with you. The technician contacts you about one hour before arrival. Windows can occasionally move because of earlier jobs, traffic or weather; if that happens we tell you as soon as we know. An adult must be present to give access and to approve any repair.

Diagnostic visit fee

The diagnostic visit fee depends on the time band of the visit and is confirmed with you before booking. The current fees are published on the pricing page. The fee covers the technician’s visit, the diagnosis and an explanation of the repair price. The weekday $79 fee is not charged when the final service amount is above $300.

Repairs and approval

No repair work starts until you have approved its price. If a further issue is found during a repair, work on it stops until you approve that too. Prices for repairs are given after the diagnosis and depend on what the technician finds; they are not quoted over the phone.

Payment

The diagnostic visit fee and any approved repair are due when the visit is complete, by the payment methods the technician offers. If you decline the repair, only the diagnostic visit fee is due.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or move a visit, call as early as you can so the window can go to another household. We do not charge for cancellations made before the technician has set off.

Safety

The guidance on this website is general information for homeowners. It never asks you to open equipment, touch wiring or bypass a safety device, and you should not do so. If you notice burning smells, smoke, sparking or a breaker that trips repeatedly, switch the system off if it is safe and contact a professional.

Website

The content on this site is provided as is, for general information. We aim to keep it accurate, but air conditioning faults vary from home to home and only an on-site diagnosis can determine what is wrong with yours. The AC24Repair name, logo and content belong to us and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for the services we carry out at your home.
